Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jeff Wilhoit
Dr. Jeff Wilhoit is a native of Johnson City, Tennessee and attended East Tennessee State University. Upon completion he moved to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life Chiropractic College. He began his career in Kingsport and then relocated to the Maryville area in 1990. Because of the growth of his patient base, Village Chiropractic Center; he moved to our new larger office in April of 2006. The name was changed to Alcoa Chiropractic Center because of the new location. Dr. Wilhoit was also invited to treat Olympic decathletes while they were in training and has received hundreds of hours of continued education. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Tennessee Chiropractic Association and Tennessee Valley Chiropractic Association. Outside of the office Dr. Wilhoit enjoys working on his farm, taking care of his bird dogs, hunting and spending time with his wife Pat.
Dr. Major Tallent
Dr. Major Tallent is a Chiropractic graduate of Life University and has an undergraduate degree in Sports Recreation. He is an All American and National Champion in Track & Field. Dr. Tallent has practiced in the fields of Occupational Medicine and Personal Injury, with an extensive background in Rehabilitation. He and his wife Tammy reside in Greenback and are members of Union Grove Baptist Church. He also loves hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Dr. Ben Rasnick
Dr. Rasnick is orginally from Kingsport, TN and happy to be back in his home town, he sold his practice and moved to Atlanta, Ga to be closer to family. A recent marriage has brought him back to Tennessee. Dr. Rasnick is a 2005 graduate from Sherman College of chiropractic. He is a member of the TCA, and TVCA. He has a strong focus on sports health and enjoys working with the local sports teams. Dr. Rasnick is a compettive runner and cyclist. He enjoys being outside and being active. Dr. Rasnick is ready to share his expertise here in the office.
Dr. Kylie Sharp
Dr. Kylie Sharp is a native of Maryville, TN and is excited to be returning to her home town. She played tennis at Carson Newman during her undergraduate studies then moved to Saint Louis where she attended Logan College of Chiropractic. She is Webster Certified and has a background working with pregnant women and children. She is mom to a 2 year old girl named Rhowen and is expecting number two this spring. Dr. Sharp is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community that gave her so much.
